If you would have told me 10 years ago that I wouldn’t have my own sitcom or that I wouldn’t be an A list celebrity, I would have told you to go fock yourself! I didn’t realize I had been entertaining for 10 years now! I keep repeating 10 years because that’s insane to me! someone recently asked me “How long have you been Entertaining” I paused counted the years and couldn’t believe it’s been that long (10 years) since I stepped on the Geva Theater stage and believe you me I have not been sitting around for 10 years I’ve done five years of theater, 6 years of Stand up Comedy wrote and produced Murder Mystery dinner theater shows for 2 years, (Doing all of these simultaneously) I”ve hosted and Performed all over and I know you’ve seen my latest venture “Single Until Proven Guilty” my web series. it’s been training for what’s to come everything that I’ve done is so preparing me for where I’m going! guys I’m so friggin ready I could cry like an American idol Cast off. my national television debut is coming it’s coming like Jesus! for you Christians out there, wait! is Jesus the only God coming back or should I be expecting Buda?

Anyhow at my new Stand Up Comedy Show in Rochester NY Simply Titled “Joel James Comedy Show 10 year anniversary” I’m reflecting on the last 10 years and bringing back some old jokes revised.. I can’t wait Check the Flyer out.

So I did my first hour comedy set and it’s a big deal as a comedian to do a hour show and have an hour full of laughter. And usually I need a few shots to get it together but I was completely sober so that added to my excitement. I thought I couldn’t be as funny sober I hadn’t done it in so long! I stopped because I thought it wasn’t professional. but really the show was amazing the audience was great (sold out crowd might I add) I wanted the performance to be like a performance I did years ago and two girls were literally crying laughing and it was no tears but it was a great show. I was going to release it as a DVD to get my name out there but I decided not to scared to have my material out in the world it happens to so many up and coming comedians put there material out there and bigger comedians steal it I’m not saying any names cause I love errrr body but youtube it! with all that being said stand up comedy is great the FOCKING best when it’s going good! But acting is my passion I’m currently shooting my Web-Series “Single Until Proven Guilty” I’ll blog be blogging with pictures soon!

Chances are, you’ve heard Vinny Guadagnino’s first single today. It dropped this morning, but no sooner did it hit the Internet did the nation’s largest anti-sexual assault organization RAINN get wind of it and now, they’re blasting the reality star for his flippant lyrics about rape.

For those of you who’s ears haven’t indulged in Vinny’s first musical venture, at one point the guido raps about having sex with a stripper and “actin like I’m raping it.” A rep for the Rape, Abuse and Incest National Network (RAINN) points out what a “dangerous message” this is sending out and adds:

“The lyrics in Vinny Guadagnino’s new rap song that glorify rape are ignorant. Trivializing this violent crime sends a dangerous message to the public. Use of the term ‘actin’ like’ doesn’t mitigate the harm this crime has on survivors of sexual violence. We hope that Mr. Guadagnino will reconsider his stand on this issue and leverage his platform to reinforce a zero tolerance policy for sexual violence, as he has with bullying.”
